Hans Tung
Hans Tung is a Partner of Qiming Venture Partners. He focuses on Internet and Consumer investments. At Qiming, he is responsible for eHi Car Rental, VANCL, Kaixin001, Yaodian100, Youxigu (sold stake to Tencent), Xiaomi, and YPX Food.His prior work experience spans venture capital, tech investment banking, private equity, and internet start-ups over the last ten plus years. Prior to joining Qiming in late 2007, Hans initiated Bessemer Venture Partners' China investment practice. Hans started his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in New York and Hong Kong. He was a founding member of the Taipei-based Crimson Asia Capital, helped to raise $435million, and was involved with two successful IT investments in Singapore. Hans was also an entrepreneur and co-founder of two award-winning Internet start-ups: Asia2B in Hong Kong and HelloAsia in Silicon Valley. He has a B.S. in Management Science Engineering from Stanford University.
